James Paul Hinman planning 2nd book of Chuck Hinman writings

Robert Stone has received the following letter which he is sharing with ColumbiaMagazine.com readers:

"Dear Mr. Stone,

"I wanted to tell you how pleased I was to read my Dad's story entitled . An Email From My Son [on ColumbiaMagazine.coom]. Sometimes it is the 'little' things in life that make the most difference and, for me that day, that story was just the boost that I needed to start my day!

"My recovery from my fall and subsequent surgery is moving along, though very slowly. I am able to walk now with a cane and am able to drive a vehicle once again (love that independence).

"Since I am computer savvy enough, I have decided to upgrade my hardware and will, in the near future, purchase a full version of desktop publishing software. Classroom instruction is available here at a local college for adult continuing education and my goal is to assemble all of my Dad's stories and related photos into a second book. [Chuck Hinman's first book is titled "It's Just Me" and the suggested title for the second one is "It's Just Me Again."]

"To all the readers of ColumbiaMagazine who enjoy reading my Dad's work I say gratefully thank you and thank you as well, sir, for continuing to publish them.

"Sincerely yours and God bless,

James Paul Hinman
Monday, September 30, 2013"
