LWC Football moves to No. 14 in latest NAIA Top-25 Poll Blue Raiders remain unbeaten on the season Click on headline for complete story, next game details By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College football team moved up two spots in this week's NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, officials announced on Monday, September 30, 2013. The move from No. 16 to No. 14 comes after the Blue Raiders defeated Faulkner (AL) University 37-30 in overtime on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Lindsey Wilson improved to 5-0 on the season and remains 1-0 in the Mid-South Conference East Division. The Blue Raiders received 153 voting points from the panel of head coaches that makes up the national raters. University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY) and Georgetown (KY) College are the only other ranked Mid-South teams. Cumberlands is No.2 while Georgetown is No. 5. Morningside (Iowa) remains atop the national poll with 314 voting points and all 14 first-place votes. Cumberlands is No. 2 with 299 voting points followed by Saint Xavier (IL) with 283 voting points.
