MarketReady addresses issues in marketing local products to local markets, including local restaurants, wholesalers/retailers/institutions, and schools. This training focuses on the best business practices identified by buyers in these markets who are seeking local suppliers. MarketReady producer training is also featuring a special Farm to School curriculum for the first year! This national program, developed by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service, will provide you with the tools for business success. Meet buyers, KDA (KY Department of Agriculture) staff, KCARD (KY Center for Agriculture and Rural Development) staff, and others Registration is $25 for this event!
