William Henry Hobbs, III, Nashville, TN (May 27, 1960- September 23, 2013)

His son, Jack Williams Hobbs, II, is a 2012 graduate of Adair County High School where he was an outstanding student, band member and tennis player. - Shamarie Claiborne

William Henry Hobbs, III, expert marksman, outdoorsman, proud father, devoted grandson, son and caregiver, 1978 Montgomery Bell Academy graduate, who chose to live life on his own terms, passed away September 23, 2013 from a stroke on the Hobbs farm in Humphreys County, TN.

He is survived by son Jack William Hobbs, II, Lexington, KY; mother, Jo Ann Hobbs, McEwen, TN; sisters, Libby Hobbs Terry and husband James Terry, Oak Ridge, TN, Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle and husband Judge Walter C. Kurtz, Nashville, TN, Susan Henson, Huntsville, AL; nephews and nieces James Richard Hamilton, III, Helen Holliday Terry, William Gant Terry, Amaryllis Ann Lyle, Laura Jo Ann Henson, Lindsay Henson. Preceded in death by father, Jack Hobbs. Visitation from 11amCT until 1pmCT, Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
