Reed can be accessed by clicking to: Today, WEDNESDAY with CM, September 25, 2013 Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Ellen Zornes News from Columbia Rotary Club Judy Keltner, representing the Lake Area Foundation, spoke to the Columbia Rotary Club at its regular 4th Monday meeting, Monday, September 23, 2013, meeting. Ms. Keltner was introduced by Columbia Businessman Dan Antle, a member of the Board of the Lake Area Foundation. He, along with Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton, have been driving forces behind the foundation, which is an initiative of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District. Adair Countians have been among the most active in support of the Foundation, as can be seen in the organization's list of Honor and Memorial Gifts at Lake Cumberland Foundation/Honor and Memorial Gifts. The of the larger funds at the LAF are Adair County Courthouse Preservation Fund, Adair County Women's Circle, and the Lindsey Wilson College Fund, specific to Adair County. Another fund honors are distinguished Adair Countian and is District Wide, The Pat Bell Administrative fund, which has the aim of funding professional administration of the Lake Area Foundation. COLUMBIA ROTARY CLUB meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at Lindsey Wilson's Roberta Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY at 12pm noonCT. The meetings adjourn at 1pmCT. Rotary is an international service club and Columbia Rotary welcomes men and women who are interested in serving their community.
