Clifford Alben Wilson, 79, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Friday, September 20th,at Fairoaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, at 11amCT/12pmET, on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, with Bro. Robert Conner and Bro. Troy Coffey officiating. Interment at Square Oak Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT/6pmET, on Monday, September 23, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs.



Clifford Alben Wilson, Russell County, KY (1934-2013)


Clifford was born in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, on Friday, February 1, 1934. He was a son of the late Josephine (Dunbar) and Jason Bryant Wilson. He died Friday, September 20, 2013, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

He was a member of Square Oak Separate Baptist Church, retired educator and principal of Russell County Vocational School and long time Russell County School Board member and owner of Wilson Fur and Ginseng.

He is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Kelly Roy, of Russell Springs, KY

  • A son: Vince Wilson, of Russell Springs, KY

  • A sister: Aldine Dockery, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • and a host of great-grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Wilson.
