Creech Carman, age 80, of Yosemite, KY passed away on Monday September 16th, 2013, at St. Joseph East. .

Visitation was held 5pmET. Wednesday, September 18,, 2013 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral Services were at 2pmCT, Thursday September 19, 2013 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.



Creech Carman, Casey County, KY (1933-2013)


Creech Carman was born in Yosemite, Casey County, KY on March 4, 1933. He was the son of the late Herbert and Beulah Hatter Carman. He passed away on Monday September 16, 2013, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

He was a farmer, former Casey Co. Magistrate for District 3, member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Middleburg Masonic Lodge #594 and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Raney Carman, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Cecilia and (Chris) Atwood of Liberty, KY; and Pamela and (Chris) Morgan of Yosemite, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Angela Denson and Justin Spears

  • Six great grandchildren: Ethen Wayne Spears, Charlotte Ann Denson, Milachi Joseph Denson, Kyron Lee Spears, Jessalyn Jacob and Alexis Gossett

  • And two brothers: Paul Glen Carman of Liberty and Edwin Carman of McKinney, KY.
Preceding him in death were one son, Randall Creech Carman; one grandson, Aaron Morgan; one great grandson, Brady Adam Kade Denson; two sisters, Lera Carman and Emma Lanham; six brothers, C.B., Oval C. (Punk), Edward (Eb), Roy (Tead), Elvin and Lewis Carman.
