She was the widow of Fred Lewis Sparks, who died in 1997. She leaves 6 direct living descendants spanning 4 generations. Mrs. Sparks was a member of the Glensfork Christian Church and was retired from General Motors-Delco in Illinois. Lucille W. Sparks, age 84 years of the Montpelier Community of Adair Co. KY, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 7:29pmCT, at the Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 14. 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ivan Tucker and Bro. Bill Wethington the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 4pmCT/5pmET, Friday, September 13, 2013, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Lucille W. She died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in New Lenox, Will County, IL, at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 14 days.
