Election 2014: It looks like at least 3 for 7th District Magistrate

By Ed Waggener

The 2014 race for Magistrate in the 7th Magisterial District of Adair County, is taking shape. And it looks like a doozy:
  1. Terry Farris who held the seat before Terry Hadley, has told us that he will be a candidate to reclaim the seat. He's the only Democrat who has told CM he will be a candidate.
  2. Terry Hadley who held the seat from from 2006-2010, says that in all likelihood, he will run for the seat. "As it stands today," he said. "I will be a candidate." Hadley is a Republican.
  3. Billy Rowe, (2010-???) also running as a Republican is the current incumbent, will seek re-election.
  4. Another candidate, is said to be contemplating the race but we have not talked to him yet.
Candidates for Magisterial Seats can file as early as November 6, 2013 at the County Court Clerk's offfice, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
