Two more declarations on CJE post We now have first hand declarations on the race for County Judge Executive for next year, which now only has the candidate CM favors - County Judge Executive Ann Melton - as an announced candidate in the race. Hope to have more on why we believe, on balance, she deserves re-election: Billy Rowe - 7th District Magistrate, has declared that will not be a candidate for CJE. He's told us he will be a candidate for re-election as magistrate. He also said he didn't think anybody can beat the incumbent CJE.The filing earliest filing date is November 6, 2014.
