September is Library Card Sign-Up Month A free library card is your ticket to back-to-school savings The Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. The library is open Monday-Wednesday 8am-5pmCT; Thursday 11am-8pmCT; Friday 8am-5pmCT; and Saturday 8am-12 pm noon CT By Lee Ann Jessee, Director Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Adair County Public Library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that our students have the most import school supply of all - a free library card. Resources at the Adair County Public Library are available to anyone who has a library card. Students can turn to the library for materials, programs and services that support academic achievement. The Adair County Public Library has accelerated reading books, free Internet service and other books to check out just for fun reading. During the summer months we offer Summer Reading Program. Students can use their library cards from home, too. Our library offers access to important educational resources, like WorldBook online and access to OverDrive for ebooks. The Adair County Public Library provides all types of students with the tools they need to succeed. The library provides students with exciting and engaging programs that make learning fun and resources that they can access from the library or from home - all with a free library card.
