Marion County cyclist injured in single vehicle accident

Loretto, KY rider ejected after losing control in curve, leaving roadway, and striking post

LEBANON, KY - Trooper Morris Farris is investigating a collision that occurred on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 8:06amET in the limits of Loretto. 37-year-old Ronald L. Berry of Loretto was operating a 2002 Harley Davidson, traveling west on KY 52, when he lost control in a curve, left the roadway and struck a post. Berry was ejected from the motorcycle and was transported to Springview Hospital in Lebanon where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. Berry was wearing a helmet. Tpr. Farris was assisted at the scene by Marion County EMS and the Loretto Fire Department. - TFC BILLY GREGORY
