Harvest: Memories of lessons learned in the burley patch Comments re photo 51240 by Shamarie Claiborne: Topside of the Holler Hauling in the burley tobacco harvest By Paula Ball Eaton This picture brings back so many memories. I've spent many hours in a tobacco field/barn, at the time, it was work to me and I really didn't like it. Little did I know, Dad was teaching my brothers and I a lot and what I miss most is the quality time with my parents and three brothers. I will never get those days back but I have wonderful memories and I love to see pictures like this, thank you Shamarie!
