Comment: She'll now go to Hardscratch for those famed fish fries Comments re photo 51211 The Simple Life in Hardscratch Now Smoke Free Barbara Armitage writes: Great, Fantastic, Wonderful!!!! We have wanted to join in on their famous Fish Fries for years but were unable to do so because of the smoking situation. You can count on the folks a Tucker's Station for dinner. Hopefully more restaurants will follow their example and I won't have to cook every night. --Barbara ArmitageThanks, Barbara Armitage: Voting with your dollars is great. But the biggest reason to go - now that the smoking issue is out of the way - is that Ken does catfish right, and the folks you see there, all having a great time. Mrs. Marcum and I were there last Friday, and she ran into a great friend originally from Metcalfe County! It was old home day for her. And boy, was the place crowded - that's another good sign of good eating. Mrs. Marcum loved the food, by the way, and that's another standard in our family. - EW This story was posted on 2013-09-05 05:47:20
