Tutors: Extended school services available for all at ACHS Tutoring services offered after school for any Adair County High School Student who needs it, free of charge, by Extended School Services By Tracey Pierce, ESS Coordinator News from Adair County High School Adair County High School is fortunate to offer extended school services this year for every student, free of charge. We will be accepting teacher and parent recommendations for students who are at risk of failing, who need to attain a credit in a previously failed course, who need additional time to learn the content presented in the classroom, or who need to make up a quiz or test. We ask that you encourage your children to speak to their teachers if they feel they have a need for our tutoring services. The ESS Program is for the common goal of helping our children be successful. We will be offering extended school services every Monday and Wednesday morning from 7:00 to 7:45 and on our early release Friday afternoons 1pm-3pmCT. Transportation arrangements will need to be made for students who will be staying for the early release Fridays as the school is unable to provide after school transportation at this time. If you have any questions, please contact our ESS coordinator, Tracey Pierce, at 270-384-2751 ext. 144, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the hours of 7:45amCT and 2:45pmCT. --Tracey Pierce This story was posted on 2013-08-28 15:14:00
