ACHS Class of 1978 Reunion, August 24, 2013 report Looped video of 10th Reunion played thorughout event. Day starts with happy thoughts but was saddened by the news of the death of fellow classmate Teresa Coffey Pruitt Video(s), photogrraphs of event available Victoria Pike Saturday, August 24, 2013 the class of 78 held their 35th reunion at Trinity Fellowship hall. The day started out with lots of happy thoughts about the night to come and visiting with old friends but quickly turned sad when we learned of the passing of fellow classmate Teresa Coffey Pruitt. The reunion went on as planned with a memorial candle being lighted to remember all those we have lost over the years. Names were read aloud by Danny Wilkinson. Danny Wilkinson started the program out with a welcome to all and a prayer by Mike Harris. A delicious meal prepared by Jann's Catering of Nancy, KY was served. Pictures were taken of the class by Greg Thomas. Prizes were handed out by Sandy Moore Wilkinson, Lila Curry Ford, Donna Foster Hastings and Vicky Browning Pike. A video of classmates coming into the 10 year reunion was played throughout the evening. WOW what an eye opener. Many reconnections were made with friends who hadn't seen one another since graduation. Some had changed by leaps and bounds, while others looked almost the same. The reunion committee was made up of Danny and Sandy Wilkinson, Donna Foster Hastings, Greg Thomas, Lila Curry Ford, and Vicky Browning Pike. Also, last evening at least 12 classmates attended the visitation for our classmate Teresa Coffey Pruitt in Campbellsville Ky, Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home. A donation was made to Campbellsville University Scholarship Fund by the ACHS Class of 78. Teresa was an employee of the University. Pictures are available from the reunion and some smaller ones of past reunions are also left as well as a booklet of names and latest addresses of classmates. Also, the video is available. See Greg or Vicky if you would like to have any of these.
