Pre-trial, trial dates set for Dudgeon; Meyer case continued

Arraignments of former Westlake Regional Hospital employees: Betsy Dudgeon enters not guilty plea; Cinda Meyer arraignment continued to Septemer 17, 2013.

Betsy Dudgeon, represented by Attorney Phillip George, former Westlake Regional Hospital employee, entered a plea of not guilty to eight counts of theft by unlawful taking at her arraignment in Adair Circuit Court today, Tuesday, August 27, 2013. A pretrial hearing was set by Circuit Judge Judy Vance for October 29, 2013, at 1pmCT; who set a trial for March 6, 2014, at 9amCT, according to information requested of the Adair Circuit Clerk. Dudgeon is a sister of former Westlake Administrator Rex A. "Rusty" Tungate.

The Circuit Court Clerk said that the case of Cinda Lee Meyer, former Westlake Regional Hospital assistant Administrator, who is facing 8 counts of theft by unlawful taking, was continued when her attorney was unable to attend the scheduled arraignment today; through an agreement with the Commonwealth's Attorney, Gale Williams the case has been contined until September 17, 2013, at 1pmCT, in Adair Circuit Court.
