Elizabethtown, KY woman injured in motorcycle accident

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - On Monday, August 26, 2013 at approximately 4:45pmET, Kentucky State Police Post 04 received a call in regard to an injury crash on Wooldridge Ferry Rd. just south of KY 313. Kimberly C. Marlatt (49), of Elizabethtown was operating a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Wooldridge Ferry Road, when for unknown reasons she ran off of the East side of the roadway. She was then ejected from the motorcycle and collided with a tree in a rock cut ditchline. Mrs. Marlatt was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was not wearing a safety helmet. KSP was assisted on the scene by Hardin Co. EMS. - Tpr. Jeff Gregory
