Comments re photo 51085 Adair School District releases 2013 ACT test scores

Look at the bright side. This year with only half day on Fridays, they will be spending less time in school. Based on these across the board drops in scores, maybe that's a good thing. - Jon Halsey, Knifley, KY
Thanks for the comment. I would respectfully disagree with what you with your conclusions, but I'm thankful your focus is on Education. As the article stated, there were new standards in place this year. So the comparisons had to be seen in that light. And, with Early Release Fridays, there's same amount of instructional time as ever, but now the teachers have time to compare notes on and focus on ways to help students who need help. My bet is that next year, the results will better. - Ed Waggener
