Early Release Fridays start Sept. 6, 2013 in Adair Schools Early release means that classes will dismiss at 1pmCT on Fridays and buses will run then. By Shamarie Claiborne, Media Publicity Director Adair County School District As part of the Race to the Top grant, the Adair County School System will begin Early Release Fridays beginning September 6, 2013 and running through April 25, 2014. What does this mean for you and your family? All Adair County Schools will dismiss students at 1pmCT on Fridays. Bus transportation home will be provided, or students may be picked up at their school at 1pmCT. Professional Development will be attended by staff for the remainder of the day. All four schools will be providing enrichment activities for students who need or want to stay. So be keeping an eye out for complete information on your student's school program. Also, remember that parents are responsible for student pick-up from all after school programs ending at 3pmCT each Friday.
