Affordable Health Care seminar Aug. 26, 2013 Program will explain how new healthcare programs will affect individuals, families Kelli Bonifer News from Adair County Extension Office There will be a brief presentation and Q&A session focused on the new Affordable Healthcare Laws and what they will mean for individuals and families Monday, August 26, 2013 at 5:30pmCT/6:30pmET, at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, Kentucky. The program will be presented by AppalReD Legal Aid & Kentucky Justice Center and the Cooperative Extension Office. All Kentuckians will have access to healthcare beginning January 1, 2014. Beginning October 1, 2013, Kentuckians will be able to shop for health insurance plans through an online marketplace or over the phone. This presentation will focus strictly on the facts in order to educate the community about how the new laws might benefit each one and their family.
