Green Co., KY: Windstream worker severely injured in dog attack

Incident took place on Tucker Road, off KY 68, in the Thurlow community (Google Map ) of Green County, KY. Thurlow is approximately 20 miles from Columbia, KY, and some 5 miles west of Greensburg, KY.

A Taylor County man was severely injured after being attacked by two Bull Terrier dogs on Tucker Road in the Thurlow area of Green County, KY, yesterday.

Sixty-one year old Foster Reynolds of Friendship Pike, Campbellsville, KY, a Windstream phone employee, was on a ladder doing phone repair work at the Tucker Road home of Ralph Cook and Ann Durham when the incident occurred.

The Green County Sheriff's Department said that Reynolds was attacked by the Bull Terrier Dogs (Wikipedia entry, Bull Terrier) as he was coming down the ladder.



As a result of the attack, Reynolds received severe leg and bone injuries and was taken to UL Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

The dogs are under a 10 day quarantine as ordered by the Green County Sheriff's Department.

Deputy Brian Matney said the investigation is ongoing.

Reynolds is reported to be in stable but serious condition. - Larry Smith
