Notice of Public Meeting/Russell Creek Flood Study

Columbia/Adair Utilities District Special Public hearing

A public meeting will take place at 5pmCT, on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Adair County Annex Building Basement, Columbia, KY for the purpose of providing general information to the public regarding the Russell Creek Flood Study(SAI# KY20110708-0889). The proposed project consists of repairing the shore line of Russell Creek that was damaged due to the flood event that occurred in May, 2010. The results of the Flood Study outline the impacts to Russell Creek by evaluating past, current and future rainfall events that have and could occur. The public is invited to attend and comment on such issues as economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives to the project, cultural and historical issues, or any other pertinent issues. - s/ Robert Flowers, Chairman Columbia/Adair Utilities District
