CofC Board member issues challenge to Charles Marshburn

She'll back him for Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where he can devote his considerable talent to the paramount issue of the day: Suggesting a Sister City for Columbia, KY for City of Columbia to make official? (They do that, don't they? Or is it the Garden Club? The Rotary? the Chamber of Commerce? or is that the purview of the Bear Board?) - CM

Wendy Butler Burt writes:
Like any volunteer organization, members of the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce have their hands full conducting their busy lives and volunteering their time, energy and ideas to the organization. I am certain that other members of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors would join me in welcoming Charlie Marshburn as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Then, as a member of the Chamber, Charlie would be able to devote some of his considerable talent to the project of securing a sister city for the City of Columbia. - Wendy Butler Burt
