The first flea market yesterday was an encouraging, impressive start. There was good attendance, and we had a lot of positive feedback from the community about the first event and when the next one will take place, and hope to see even more people and vendors here today, Sunday, August 4, 2013, 8amCT-2pmCT, Jim Blair Center, 901 Hudson Street, Columbia, KY. All the vendors seemed pleased with the steady flow of people throughout most of the day and many buyers were enthusiastic and offered to help spread the word - and give us notes, advice on how we can make this a regular, successful event which help underwrite the many programs we now have, and aid the future growth of Columbia/Adair County Parks & Recreation.
