Two injured in two car accident near E 80 Russell Creek Hill

Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss and Deputy Justin Cross responded to a two vehicle injury accident, today, Thursday, August 1, 2013, Russell Springs Highway, KY East 80 in the vicinity of Russell Creek Hill, in Adair County, KY.

Mr Donald Thomas of Columbia, KY, was operating a 1999 Ford when he made an attempt to pass a vehicle and struck a 2005 Ford Crown victoria head on operated by Mr Marshall Oaks of Columbia, KY. Mr. Oaks and his passenger were treated at the scene by Adair County EMS and then transported to Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

They were also asisted on scene by Russell County Deputy Cleet McAnich and Adair County Search and Rescue. - Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss

1999 Ford sustains heavy front end damage

This 1999 Ford, operated by Mr. Donald Thomas of Columbia, KY sustained damage, heaviest on the right front side of the car, in a two vehicle collision in the vicinity of the Russell Creek Hill on E. KY 80 in Adair County, this afternoon, Thursday, August 1, 2013. The driver of the other car and a passenger, were treated at the scene and taken to Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.
