Select LWC College Courses offered to Area High School students Students may earn up to 9 hours per semester at extremely low tuition rates By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY- High school students can begin college this fall at Lindsey Wilson College. The Lindsey Wilson High School Scholars Program will offer nine classes this fall to high school juniors and seniors. Five classes will be held on LWC's A.P. White Campus, and four classes will be online. The cost of each three-hour course is $180. Students may take up to two classes simultaneously and earn up to nine credit hours a semester. "This is an incredible opportunity for a high school junior or senior to not just get an early start on college, but they can also save a significant amount of money as well," said LWC President William T. Luckey Jr. To help families take advantage of the program, LWC allows interest-free installment payments for high school scholars. "Allowing students to spread out their payments makes it possible for a high school student to pay for college classes while holding down a part-time job," Luckey said. LWC's fall semester begins August 19, 2013, but some online courses offered in the LWC High School Scholars Program begin in mid-October and run through mid-December.
