Patchy Dense Fog this Thursday, August 1, 2013 morning

The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued the following Special Weather Statement for a large area including our immediate 7-County area of Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Counties, KY:
PATCHES OF DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING...

THE COMBINATION OF MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES...CALM WINDS...AND RECENT RAINFALL IS LEADING TO PATCHY DENSE FOG DEVELOPMENT EARLY THIS MORNING. BE PREPARED FOR VISIBILITIES REDUCING BELOW A HALF MILE OVER SHORT DISTANCES. PERIODIC BATCHES OF CLOUD COVER MAY HELP TO BRIEFLY IMPROVE VISIBILITIES AS WE NEAR DAWN FOR AREAS ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND THE BLUEGRASS REGION. ANY LINGERING FOG WILL DISSIPATE BY MID TO LATE MORNING.
