Mr. Randy Eugene Perdue, age 65, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 5pmCT/6pmET, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary E. Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Highway Cemetery in Clinton County, KY. The family will receive friends after 4pmCT/5pmET, on Monday, July 29, 2013 until the funeral hour on Tuesday.


Pallbearers:Marla Willis, Cindy Perdue, Chad Willis, Jamie Allen, Bro. Gary E. Cash and John Moore.

Honorary pallbearers: Brad Perdue, Junior Perdue, Nonnie Smith, Johnathan Pierce, Casey Perdue, Randy Parker Myers, Donnie Norris, Phillip Pierce, Michael Branham, Parker Perdue and Daryl Branham.

Mr. Randy Eugene Perdue was born on Sunday, February 29, 1948 on Ill Will Creek in Clinton County, KY. He was the son of Paris and Alene Cook Perdue. He died Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 27 days.

He was a member of the Spears Chapel Community Church, had worked for Red Ace Gas Station, and ran Perdue's Auction House in Burkesville, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mary Elizabeth Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Evelyn Norris Perdue of Burkesville, Kentucky, and the following:
  • His daughters: Marla Perdue (and Chad) Willis of Sparta, TN; and Cindy Perdue (and Jamie Allen) of Burkesville, KY

  • Nine step-children

  • His siblings: Betty Perdue Myers of Glasgow, KY; Brad (and Wanda) Perdue of Burkesville, KY; Judy Perdue (and Donnie) Norris of Burkesville, KY; Brenda Perdue (and Daryl) Branham of Glasgow, KY; Margaret Perdue (and Nonnie) Smith of Burkesville, KY; Donna Perdue Wilson of Beaver Dam, KY; and Junior (and Sherry) Perdue of Breeding, KY

  • His granddaughters: Maranda Perdue, Chelsey Day, Estee Willis and Lillie Willis

  • His grandson: Ari Willis
The family would appreciate contributions to the Perdue Benefit Fund c/o Citizens Bank of Cumberland County.
