Sad word of the passing of Mr. Joe Johnson (1922-2013) We have received the sad word of the passing of a legendary Adair County Sports icon, Mr. Joe Johnson. Mr. Johnson passed away last night, Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3pmCT/4pmET, Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Bro. Elbert Hadley will be the officiating clergy.
