She was the daughter of the late Willie Virgil & Kizzie Ann Burris Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Bob Clemmons. She leaves 1 direct living descendant. She was a homemaker and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church, in Adair County, KY.

Artie Ree Clemmons age 85 of Scottsville formerly of Edmonton, KY died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Medical Center in Scottsville, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT/3pmET, Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Saturday, July 20, 2013, and after 9pmAM/10pmET, Sunday, July 21, 2013, at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Willie Virgil & Kizzie Ann Burris Wilson.

She was a homemaker and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church in Adair County, KY. She is survived by her husband Bob Clemmons of Scottsville, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Danny, and wife Tammy Clemmons of Scottsville, KY

  • One sister: Dorthy and husband Mitchell Bingham of Edmonton, KY
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Loren V. and Eddie Lee Wilson, and one sister Zorene England.
