8th Annual Adair Co. Youth Football League camp July 27, 2013 By David Holmes News from Adair County Youth Football League The Adair County Youth Football League will be hosting its 8th annual free football camp at 5:30pmCT, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Lindsey Wilson College's Blue Raider Stadium, 828 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. We will be conducting this year's camp in a new format, a combined style event. Players will compete in various stations such as passing, receiving, punting and obstacle course as well as others. We will have three age groups with first place winners at each station and in each age group receiving trophies. All players will also receive certificates as well. At the conclusion of this year's camp we will provide free hotdogs and drinks for all who attend. Season starts Monday, July 29, 2013 We will begin our season the following week, on Monday, July 29, 2013, with practices being held on each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of each week. Practices will begin at 6pmCT each evening with signups starting at 5pmCT. Age groups will be K thru 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th grades. The cost of signups is $40 for another year with a $5 discount for each additional sibling signed up. Cheerleading will also be available this year with the possibility of some competitions as well.
