Worth a trip to C-ville just to see latest Main ST improvements Downtown: "You don't know how much you miss it til it's gone." By Sheila Hare In response to Cricket's comments on Campbellsville. If you have not driven downtown Campbellsville. It is worth the trip to see what pride has been put into the downtown area. When going to Campbellsville I go up Main Street just to see what they have added most recently. Just two week agos I took a lady for a trip to see the improvements they have made to their city. Would love to see cosmetic touch ups on our town. We have such a historic and beautiful square it is a shame to not want to preserve it. I am so proud we still have a downtown. I went to see my sister last week in Michigan and she made the comment, "Please don't mess up the Square and Courthouse at home and took me to see her downtown. There are only 3 stores left. The rest had been torn down. She made the comment, "You don't know how much you miss it til it's gone." - Sheila Hare Comments re article 60744 Says a few neglected properties are difference in attractiveness This story was posted on 2013-07-18 14:23:12
