Drivers injured in 2 vehicle collision on East KY 80 Both taken to Westlake Regional Hospital; one driver airlifted to Louisville, the other to Lexington From Adair County Sheriff's Department Adair Sheriff Dept along with Adair EMS , Adair Fire Dept and search and rescue where dispatched to East KY 80 on a two vehicle accident with injuries, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Mr. Joseph Trumpis of Columbia, KY, was operating a 2009 Chrysler when he crossed the center line and hit a 2001 Ford van driven by Mrs Linda Bennett of Columbia, KY. Mrs Bennett and Mr Trumpis were treated on scene by Adair EMS then taken to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia. Mr. Trumpis was flown to University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY; and Mrs Bennett was flown to U of L, Louisville, KY. This story was posted on 2013-07-16 16:03:59
