Four members of Russell Springs High School died in 44 days Russell Co., KY, History By JIM (July 11, 2013) In the past 44 days, four members of the Russell Springs High class of 1941 have passed, they being Malcolm "Mack" Gaskins; twin brothers Atlee and Attis Rexroat; and Ovalene Foley Rexroat (Mr. Atlee's wife). Mrs. Rexroat's sister, Enola B. Foley Arms, who also recently passed, was a member of the RSHS class of 1945. Of the thirty-three members of that class, 27 are known to be deceased. Of the 19 men in the class, at least 16 served in the armed forces during World War II, as did at least one of the women.
