The funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, 2490 State Highway 406, Stinnett, KY, by Pastor James Bowling Jr. Burial will be in the Hacker Family Cemetery in Essie, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, Monday, July 8, 2013, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, and after 5pmCT/6pmET, Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Stinnett Pentecostal Church.

James R. Roberts was the son of Jo Anne Hacker Roberts and the late James E. Roberts. He was born Friday, September 17, 1976 in Frankfort, Franklin County, KY. He died at, Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 36 years, 9 months, and 20 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church.

He was a journalist at the Central Kentucky News Journal in Campbellsville.

He united in marriage to Abby Morgan March 25, 2000. Besides his wife, Abby Roberts of Campbellsville, KY.

He is survived by the following:
  • His mother: Jo Anne Roberts of Essie, KY

  • One brother: Michael Roberts and wife, Denise of Essie, KY

  • His grandfather: Ray Hacker of Stinnett, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends
