Former player would like to see Ryan McQueary remain head coach at ACHS Wants Ryan McQueary to remain head baseball coach Jordan Knifley writes: As a former player as well as a friend of Coach McQueary I am upset to see him removed from his position at ACHS. I cannot comment on the incident at the Little League park as I wasn't there. But I can say that for four years he showed great leadership to our team and I have a great deal of respect for him. Ryan takes a great deal of pride in his coaching position. The team is currently coming off two consecutive years of great results, in fact some of the best in the history of the program. I feel that any replacement for the position will likely be a step in the wrong direction for the program. He apologized for his actions publicly and regrets how the incident unfolded. We've all done things that we regret and have had an awful lot of "I'm sorry." moments. If we weren't forgiven and given a chance to right our wrongs where would we be? Lets give a great guy a chance to coach this team and continue their success. - Jordan Knifley This story was posted on 2013-07-03 20:55:41
