Josh Brockman, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at Lee's Famous Recipe located at 105 Hudson Street, Columbia, KY, at approximately 9:45pmCT, last night, Wednesday, June 6, 2013, Upon arrival officer's learned that a unknown black male 5 ft 8 to 6 ft in height with a large build had entered the business through a unlocked back door. The suspect made contact with employees demanding cash. He was armed with a handgun. The Suspect fled on foot in unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash. Columbia Police are looking for a vehicle of interest being a newer model white Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows. If anyone observed anything suspicious in the area or believes they may have seen a vehicle matching the description please call Columbia Police Department at 270-384-6464.
