Columbia Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at Lee's Famous Recipe located at 105 Hudson Street, Columbia, KY, at approximately 9:45pmCT, last night, Wednesday, June 6, 2013,




Upon arrival officer's learned that a unknown black male 5 ft 8 to 6 ft in height with a large build had entered the business through a unlocked back door.

The suspect made contact with employees demanding cash. He was armed with a handgun. The Suspect fled on foot in unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

Columbia Police are looking for a vehicle of interest being a newer model white Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows.

If anyone observed anything suspicious in the area or believes they may have seen a vehicle matching the description please call Columbia Police Department at 270-384-6464. Detective Tracy McCarrol is continuing the investigation.
