Mrs. Golda Bell Davidson Long, age 91, a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor, in Burkesville, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Cumberland Valley Manor, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Services were conducted on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in the Perkins Cemetery. The family will received friends after 5pmCT. Monday, June 24, 2013 until the funeral hour on Tuesday.

She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Sunday, March 5, 1922. She was the daughter of B.M. and Lala Riddle Davidson. She died Saturday, June 22, 2013 inBurkesville, Cumberland County, KY at the age of 91 years, 3 months, and 17 days.

She was a member of The Hickory Grove Church of Christ, a Homemaker and Farmer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Long; brothers, Charlie Davidson, Barry Davidson and James "Jim" Davidson; and her sister, Sylvia Long. She is survived by the following:
  • Her nephew: James (and Willie Mae) Long of Burkesville, KY

  • Nieces: Helen Steele of Indianapolis, IN; and Hazel Jones and Betty Hogan both of Burkesville, KY

  • .Several great nieces and nephews

  • Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with burial in the Perkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Professional services provided by Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY.
