Martha Berry: The Return of the Ring a wonderful story

And she has one Writer/Class Ring Detective Dave Rigsby can sink his teeth into: Her cherished Columbia High School ring with the initials MNH, inside - at least 60 years old now - which was lost and found in Louisvillle, only to be lost again near the Adaministration building on the A.P. White Campus at Lindsey Wilson College.

By Martha Berry

What a wonderful story.

I wish someone would find mine.

My husband-to-be wore it one weekend when he went home to Louisville, where he lost it. Some kind man in Louisville found it and returned it to me.

I wish that were the end of the story but, sadly, it isn't.

We were sitting with friends on the LWC campus when it was lost, again, somewhere in the grass near the Administration Building.

We searched diligently but the ring never surfaced. Many years have passed, buildings have been torn down, new buildings have been erected near where we sat on the grass.

I could hope that in all those excavations someone would have seen that little Columbia High School ring with the initials, MNH, inside. --Martha Berry
