Larry Ballard age 63, of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY, after an illness.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Mud Camp Cemetery. Family requests visitation 1pmCT/2pmET-9pmCT/10pmET, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.


Larry Ballard, Cumberland Co., KY (1960-2013)


Larry was born on Thursday, June 8, 1950 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lorene Bryant Ballard. He died Friday, June 21, 2013, in Burkesville, KY, at the age of 63 years, 13 days. He attended Hanover Church of Christ, and was a member of the Marrowbone Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Ballard. Survivors include his wife- Sue Milam Ballard of Marrowbone, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Teresa Rigsby and her husband Tony of Edmonton, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Mandi and Matthew Rigsby of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Rheda Smith and her husband Harley of Burkesville, KY, and Mary Norris and her husband Lonnie of Caneyville, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
