Green County, KY, driver entrapped in single vehicle crash Adair County Fire department personnel extricate 18-year-old driver from wreckage one mile south of Columbia on KY 55. AC Sheriffs Office, Fire Department, and Columbia City Police also on the scene Click on headline for complete story From the Adair County Sheriff's Office Eighteen year old Bethanne DeSpain of Greensburg, KY was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY, and later flown to University of Louisville Hospital after being involved in a single vehicle collision late Friday evening. On June 21, 2013, at 7:30pmCT, DeSpain was traveling north bound on KY Hwy 55 Southapproximately one mile south of city limits in a 2009 Pontiac G6 when she lost control of her vehicle. DeSpain fell off the left shoulder of the road way overturning numerous times and came to rest in a field. DeSpain was entrapped in the vehicle for a small period of time before being extricated from the vehicle by Adair County Fire Department personnel.
