Green County, KY, driver entrapped in single vehicle crash

Eighteen year old Bethanne DeSpain of Greensburg, KY was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY, and later flown to University of Louisville Hospital after being involved in a single vehicle collision late Friday evening.



On June 21, 2013, at 7:30pmCT, DeSpain was traveling north bound on KY Hwy 55 Southapproximately one mile south of city limits in a 2009 Pontiac G6 when she lost control of her vehicle.

DeSpain fell off the left shoulder of the road way overturning numerous times and came to rest in a field. DeSpain was entrapped in the vehicle for a small period of time before being extricated from the vehicle by Adair County Fire Department personnel.

Deputy Aaron Rainwater investigated the collision and was assisted by Columbia City Police along with Adair County Search and Rescue personnel. - Story courtesy ACSO, Harrison Moss, Sheriff, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY
