Reggie Taylor age 71 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, KY.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Dana Coverstone officiating. Burial in Gains Hill Cemetery. The family requests visitation 1pm-9pmCT/2pm-10pmET, Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.

Reggie Taylor, Cumberland Co., KY (1942-2013)

She was born on Sunday, February 1, 1942 in Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Elvie and Beulah Skipworth Melton. She died Friday, June 14, 2013, in Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, KY, at the age of 71 years, 4 months, and 13 days.

She was a former employee of Bob Evans and had attended the Living Word Assembly of God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Randall Melton Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters: Beth Everley and her husband David of Burkesville, KY; and Christa Whitson and her husband Jamie of Portland, TN

  • Five grandchildren: Chasity York, Craig Everley, Chelsie Mims, Taylor Whitson, Noah Whitson

  • Seven great grandchildren: Christian, Kaydence, John, Mason, Owen, Stella, Malachi

  • One niece: Beverly Melton of Burkesville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
