Campbellsville PD makes arrest on N Poplar Street

From Campbellsville Police Department

The Campbellsville Police Department was summoned on June 12, 2013 at 5pmCT, to the residence of 435A North Poplar Street, Campbellsville, KY, to assist officers of Kentucky Division of Probation and Parole. Upon arrival at the residence, officers identified the occupants within as Irvin Davis; w/m; age 38 and Candace Newton; w/f; age 23.

The residence of 435A was inspected by officers. During their inspection, illegal items were discovered that led to the arrest of Davis. Davis was arrested for the following charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Cocaine).

Candace Newton was arrested on a outstanding warrant from Breckinridge county.

Davis and Newton were both lodged in the Taylor County Jail, Campbellsville, KY.

The investigating officers were Ofc. Scotty Perian and SGT D. Tucker.
