Kentucky History Van joins Homeplace Tractor Show By George Kolbenschlag The Kentucky Historical Society/s mobile van has been added to the schedule for the Saturday, June 15, 2013, Antique Tractor and Gas Engine show at Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. It will stop at Homeplace from 9am-1pmCT/10am-2pmET. The mobile history collection is set up for a display on the Civil War and comes just a week after celebration of the Battle at Tebbs Bend's 150th anniversary. The van is a well-known mobile extension of Kentucky's premier history museum in Frankfort. The History Society's van is part of the day long Seventeenth Annual Russell Creek/Homeplace on Green River Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Show. The Show includes tractor competitions including a pedal tractor pull for the kids, a tractor parade, food and family activities. There is no admission charge and the activities are free.
