Derek's Diabetes Destroyers Bake Sale at June Dairy Day

Team "3D" (Derek's Diabetes Destroyers) will be having a bake sale, Saturday, June 15, 2013, on the Public Square in conjunction with the June Dairy Day activities, 10amCT-???. All proceeds will go to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) Walk For A Cure.


Derek was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in August of 2010. He is the 11 year old son of Doug & Betty Jo Burris and the grandson of David and Betty Burris, and Sue a nd the late Billy Hutchison all of Columbia, KY

Derek has formed "Team 3D" to participate in the walk to cure diabetes in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September 28, 2013. He has designed his own Team 3D t-shirts which will also be on sale Saturday. For more information, call Betty @ 270-378-0273. - Gale Cowan
