Mrs. Edna Mae Williams Mitchell, 95, departed this life Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Norton's Hospuras In-Patient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

The service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 1pmCT, Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Monday, June 10, 2013, and after 7pmCT/8pmET, Monday, June 10, 2013, and after 7amCT/8amET, Tuesday, June 11 at the funeral home. Rev. Louis Henry, will be master of Master of Ceremony and Rev. Jerry Stockton will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will be in the Mitchell Family Cemetery, Greensburg, KY.

Edna Mitchell, Green County, KY (1917-2013)

Mrs. Edna Mae Williams Mitchell was born Wednesday, October 31, 1917 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Bertha Barnett Mitchell. She departed this life Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Norton's Hospuras In-Patient Care Center, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, having attained the age of 95 years, 7 months and 7 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Robert Mitchell, one brother and one sister: William L. Williams and Ella Allen.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Dean and Joe Bridgewater of Green County, KY

  • One brother: Amos Gerald Williams of Green County, KY

  • One sister: Hazel Bailey of Louisville, KY

  • Her sister in law: Doris Mitchell of Greensburg, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • And a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
