The Farmer's Market on the Square, open 8am-12pm noon CT, Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. The Farmer's Market on the Square brings you only the best Kentucky farmers, gardeners, crafters, artisans and musicians have to offer.

Here's some of what you can expect at the Farmer's Market on the Square for Saturday, June 7, 2013


  1. Darrell Bunnell of Coview Farm 270-384-5412 - has bedding plants for your vegetable and flower garden. Crisp lettuce, green onions and cucumbers
  2. Caitlin Helm of Lonely Acre Farm - Fresh baked white and wheat bread, delishious sweet breads.
  3. Terry Huff of Heavenly Homestead Cheese 270-250-2979 - Hand crafted whole milk natural cheeses. This week's cheeses are Cheddar, Smokehouse, Monterey Jack, Garlic and Herb, Colby, Havarti and NEW this week Swiss and Sharp Cheddar.
  4. Barbara Armitage of Tucker's Station Farms 270-250-2979 - Blackberry and Strawberry plants, Red Bud trees, cold hardy Banana trees, Giant Elephant Ears, artisan breads and Carrot Cake.

Lindsey Wilson BRAC team bake sale at Farmer's Market

Both Coach Marshall and Coach Stevenson are students, members of the Coach Alicia Kemnitz' Blue Raider Men's and Women's Swim Teams. The BRAC swim team - BRAC stands for Blue Raiders Aquatic Club - is growing and now has 34 members, from Adair County, but the club welcomes any youth, 5-18 years old. The team is now one year old.
