Mrs. Grace Sharp Wyatt age 94, of the Christian Chapel Community in Cumberland County, KY, passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Sharp Wyatt will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Randall McPherson and Bro. Rob Speer officiating congregational song leadership will be provided by J.V. Groce. Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pmCT/7pmET on Friday, June 7, 2013, until the funeral hour on Saturday at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY



Mrs. Grace S. Wyatt, 94, Cumberland Co., KY (1918-2013)

She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 17, 1918 the daughter of Leslie and Vina Sharp. She died Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 94, 5 months, and 21 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. "W.B." Wyatt, whom she wed on Tuesday, December 24, 1935, her brother, Clint Sharp, and her sister, Dantha Garner.

She was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Cumberland County Homemakers, and was also a Homemaker. Survivors include the following:
  • Her daughters: Nancy Watson of Burkesville, KY; and Nelda Wyatt of Lexington, KY

  • Her siblings: Ocie Key of Burkesville, KY; Dixie Cary of IN; Clay Sharp of Burkesville, KY; David Sharp of Celina, TN; and Robin Sharp of Marrowbone, KY

  • Her grandchildren: Beth Watson of Burkesville, KY; and Brad (and Summer) Watson of Glasgow, KY

  • Her great grandchildren: her great-grandchildren, William Blaine Watson, Brynn Livia Watson, and Lillian Grace Dishman.
