Columbia Police officers at site where deceased found in car At Apartment complex across from Fairgrounds By Ofc. Joshua Brockman News from Columbia Police Department At 11:25amCT on June 4, 2013, Columbia Police Department responded to LWC campus to a report of a deceased person located in a vehicle at Grider Apartments. Upon Ofc. Jamie Cole's arrival he was able to confirm the call. Detective Tracy McCarol, Sgt Murphy, along with several CPD officers are on scene at this time with Adair County Coroner Todd Akin. No other details are available at this time, as this is a active investigation. Columbia Police will release more information as it becomes available. - Ofc.
